I know that you guys will say it's because of a hotter climate... but why did that create deadly insects and animals? Why are there very few poisonous things in England etc?

Snakes. like other reptiles, are exothermic - they need to absorb heat from the Sun to get enough energy to move, Where the Sun is stronger, you will get more snakes. Africa is also a huge continent with plenty of niches for different snakes from tropical rainforest to baking desert. Australia is much the same but it was also never connected to Asia so its unique wildlife has been able to evolve and this included a lot of venemous snakes.

England is a small island that was cut off from Europe after the last ice age. Few snakes made it as far as England and none went the step further into Ireland. Snakes just don't like cold weather very much.

I assume its because a lot of them flourish in a tropical climate. Whereas here it is a more temperate climate...hence all the rain!
