I have been married for 31 years today.
On the night of our wedding, my husband had fun with friends and we went to bed early morning having danced and drunk a lot of champagne. Nothing happened. On waking up he had me to hurry to meet back his bestman and the rest of his friends from the previous night.
The next day he hurried to go to work saying he couldn't have sex because he had to go and run his shop.
When I started to worry about it after a few days, he said he was 38 and too old for sex, and that I should have married a younger man.
On Sundays, I used to prepare breakfast and bring it to him in bed on a tray but even this did not work.
As I was not becoming pregnant he wanted me to check if I was not sterile. I was treated for sterility before the gynecologist sent us to a psychiatrist.
He made a few efforts and I discovered he was a quick ejaculator. I got pregnant twice, having to abort of the first baby.
He says I'm not normal wanting to have orgasms once a week.
??

They probably can be as i feel it may be possible ... This may be a medical problem though that maybe he cannot help but can be corrected with some medical help... Why in the world did you abort your first baby? This was not fair to the baby... Poor baby:( Very sad indeed. He is not too old for sex at all... I wonder if he may be gay.... You are very normal for wanting to be intimate once a week or so. You may also want to go to a sex therapist with him. I aslo wonder about his past... Was he hurt or abused sexually or in any way? This could be a reason he may feel this way too... Have you sat down and talked with him and asked him why he feels the way that he does?

Hmmm . . . I don't know. My dad fathered me at 52 years of age, and he still sees women occasionally now that he's 74. But at 38 I'd think that your husband had physical or psychological problems. I think he could have endured better if he had practiced having sex more, but that should go without saying. He could have at least offered to masturbate you when he wasn't in the mood! Good night!

It is not to late for you to get divorced...and have a fun, exciting and normal sexual relationship. Your husband is the one with issues, not you. Sorry to hear you've been married so long being so unhappy with the sexual part of the relationship.

You know...if the situation was reversed, most men would have left or cheated by now dealing with a woman that did not have sex with their husband....maybe you should think about saving your sanity and moving on.

Hope it works out for you.

You've stayed for 31 years with little or no sex....get out and live a little, you really have missed so much enjoyment in the best years of your life.
