Could we reduce our carbon footprint by doing less excersise?

About 365kg, apparently.

I would have thought that doing less exercise would require us to eat less - reducing our carbon intake, and balancing out the emissions.

That's not going to make any significant difference. CO2 come from processing food we eat. So eating less will produce less CO2 but it won't make any impact on our atmosphere.
