Because no one is following the road rules and apart from that drunken driving also plays a major role in accidents now a days.

Some of the reasons that more and more accidents happen these days are :-
1. We are trying to race against time.Hurry make worry.
2. We are not living in the present moment, daydreaming or not doing the action with heart, mind and soul.
3. We miscalculate , overestimate ourselves, feel over confident at times, keep no margin for error.
4. Due to stress and taxing ourselves beyond certain limit there is a blackout in the mind resulting into , unconciousness for a fraction of a minute and there is no connection between what your brain orders you to do and what you do i.e. the action of your body/ body response.
5. Speed is exciting and present day generation is addicted to it and get lot of thrill, we know speed kills.
6. Everything has a life whether living or non-living. It is human nature to use the machines for unlimited time. The machines yet cannot speak to human beings and tell them to stop or else there could be an accident due to mechanical failure.
7. We are living in a shrunk space/ society.
8. Accidents are existential mystery.
I could give endless reasons, and cwrite on and on. I hope some of these reasons satisfy you.

Increasing number of vehicles without corresponding increse/improvement in infra structer.
2. Poor maintenance of vehicles.
3. Chalata hai attitude of drivers, RTO and Police.
4. Hurry to reach due to delayed start of journey .
5. Unnecessary AND ASSUMED CRAVING of MACHO IMAGE

Because a few years ago when we all drove the old oxcart we could think about the same speed as we traveled. But now we travel much faster but we still think about the same speed

We are all in a hurry. When you start moving more and faster. You are not attentive as you have to, so ........an accident.

They don't...you just hear about them more because of the media. The world is actually safer than it used to be, but if you turn on the news you may not feel that way.

who care? If you drive you must care of you.... But many people have no time so they try faster and there is not any rules followed by people. more population is one of the reson but more Dhoom fains also the reson of worry.
