Your name is the core of your identity.

Mine is Michael Vincent Johnson

Michael means like unto god.
Vincent means the strong.
Johnson doesn't mean **** unless you are respected.

I have always thougt of my self as indestructible and knightly.

I always wanted to be a hero. My name is the reason for that. Here is the kicker. I don't believe in god but I understood it to mean I was heavenly. A beautiful spirit.

I live my life with the mentality of a juggernaut. Nothing can stop me and I am gifted with a special insight. its rubbish, but it shapes my identity.

No I wouldn't change my name. In fact, I made up a name for my daughter nothing weird. It sounds normal just so I could make up a meaning for it. Hopefully it makes her thing strongly about herself.

Miriam appears in the Bible as a prophet and the sister of Moses and Aaron (Exodus 15:20). Miriam means "bitter sea," because she was born at a time when the Egyptians embittered the lives of the Jews. Miriam, however, remained sweet despite the hardships around her, giving Jews courage in those difficult times. (Midrash Yalkut Shimoni - Exodus 165) (variations: Mirel, Mirele, Mimi,Mira,Mirjana)

Well Stephen is greek for royalty (or something like that) so I suppose I'd be the female version of that - that's what I always read at least. I use to hate my name, it's too typical and too girly. I'm now "okay" w/it. I wouldn't change it now but if I wish I would've had something a little more uncommon and unique.

My name is Tara, it depends on what language, what it means. My mom named me after a girl she and everyone else thought was beautiful from a soap opera. Her sister wanted to name her daughter Tara but wouldn't let her. Depending on what language, it means/represents goddesses, star, shining, or a hill in Ireland where kings met.

If I could change it, I'd pick Ella.

The girl's name Rochelle \r(o)-chelle, roch(el)-le\ is pronounced roh-SHELL. It is of French and Old German origin, and its meaning is "little rock; rest". May be based on the French place name of La Rochelle. Also feminine variant of Rocco (Italian). Saint Rocco (14th century) was a pilgrim and healer.

I love my name! but if I was forced to change it, I'd probably change it to Jordan - totally love that name too.

I don't know of any actual meaning of the name, I know whom I was named for. I used to hate my name, and used to regret that my middle name wasn't my first name and vice-versa (I'm named for my Grandfathers, and my middle name is after my paternal grandfather, who died shortly after I was born, and WAS on his deathbed before I was born. The classic "he waited to see his first grandson" move.

I used to want to change it, but I've grown out of that phase in my life and trufully don't think much about my name anymore.
