Here in the South I would say they are posibly still bitter about segregation which continued up until 1950. Their culture and history is different from other black cultures.

I trust a black american woman more than an American flag. That is because they are truly the group of people who put their race in the fore-front of the American people. Their style of expression surpasses any other race in the world. They are a billiard ball - who can take on two tons of pressure and still refuse to quit. They are a self-reliant people who will probably give you two things - their piece of mind first and if you're still not already knocked down from their verbal blows, they might give you a piece of the action.
On the other hand, in the other nations, black women are still raw material who haven't stood the test of pressure. You can play around with them for a while until their impermanent sugar-coating melts down. Resulting in you being dumped after they have parted with your money.
So my friend, a short-cut is Never the best route in suceeding.

They have probably not been segregated (most Afro American women have roots from the days of slavery - fact) and made to feel like second-class citizens and therefor do not have any underlying psychological/ social issues. They have fought similar battles as women not "black" women. Poverty has nothing to do with being sociable infact I think it would have the opposite effect!

Personally, I don't think it is true. However, to answer your question, it is because African American women have more freedom than black women from the rest of the world; therefore, they exercise their rights by doing anything they want.

I don't think it's about being black or not.
It's about coming from a poor country. That could be it.
