I smoked socially before pregnancy ( once or twice every few months)
I smoked small amounts (1/2 cone every few days) with my second pregnacy for about 2 weeks to help me eat as the with the morning sickness I couldnt keep anything down. Not even a glass of water. But stopped once the morning sickness did.
Now havent smoked in 6 yrs. I dont think its responsible to be a parent and be affected my alcohol or drugs.
I wouldnt have smoked ( causes great guilt) but I had lost my first child at 4 and a half months pregnant and had done everything right. And a friend who was a nurse said that sometimes Dr's did prescribe marijuana for pregnant women. My daughter is now 6 yrs old and has no problems, perfectly healthy, intelligent and no physical deformaties etc.
I didnt smoke with my second daughter as I didnt have the severe morning sickness. And wouldnt subject my other daughter to a drug affected mother.

In many cultures it is considered health for pregnant women to smoke or eat marijuana while pregnant especially if they are sick and having a difficult pregnancy. Marijuana relieves nasea and vomiting, which can get dangerously bad in some women, and increases your appetite. It is also common to smoke marijuana while in labor. It is much safer than the opiated drugs used in U.S. hospitals and a relaxed women experiences less pain during childbirth than one that is worried or upset.

I did smoke some marijuana while pregnant with my first child. She is a very happy healthy and smart toddler now. I am currently pregnant, but I have not smoked with this pregnancy. I have not had the desire. And, listening too and trusting your body is key.

i hate admitting i have a few times while pregnant. it was only after all available meds(including zofran and marinol) failed to end the constant puking. at 6 months pregnant with twins i am still 10 lbs under my prepregnancy weight due to hyperemisis gravidarum.
its not something i suggest, but it was a last resort
