it all depends on the type of gecko it is. different gecko's eat different things. most gecko's can eat crickets according to their age and size. some eat fruits. what kind of gecko is it?

What type are you talking about, it makes a difference in what you feed it. It sounds like you have the infamous ghetto gecko in which case you feed it hoes.

some insects. why? you rear a gecko? ask the pet shop owner from which you bought the gecko to confirm what's best for your lizard friend...

crickets or meal worms is my opinion. you may find pellets at the store but I would go with the live food and its pretty cheap too.
