Recently I felt that I'm not doing enough for the people around me. I just want to be there for everyone. Can't help feeling weak and helpless.

Just the fact that the desire is there to help others makes you a good person. Just wait and watch and the oppurtunity will show itself.

You can't save the world. You can only help those who want help or who ask for help. If you really want to feel that you are doing something helpful or useful, find one specific cause that is important to you, and get involved in an organization that supports that cause. Or volunteer and do community service type activities. Just remember that you have to take care of yourself first and foremost so that you have the energy and brain power to help others.
