Although extremely physically challenging, they are not.
Back in the 80's there was a move to classify professional wrestling in the same catagory as boxing, but when it was determined that all wrestlers would have to go through the same drug testing qualifications as boxers to do so (and this included screening for illeagle steroid use), it was announced that wrestling was in fact, just for entertainment purposes, and therefore no testing was needed.

the fights are what is known in the profession as worked. The moves have been choreographed and the outcome will already be known before the end of the fight.

Yes! They are so important cameras and microphones follow the fighters around 24/7, like in Big Brother!

The fights are preplanned, not staged. Everything they do is real. The outcome is what's staged.
Sometimes though, storylines, feuds, and matches are stemmed from real life problems though,

Very few are real. most of the challenges are done just to have some content displayed on television. otherwise when a newcomer challenges a champion, why does the champion have to fight???

such fights are preplanned but everything they do in the ring is real.. they are all trained professionals and sometimes we feel that the person is not hitting for real and it might be true but most of the time they do hit each other... its great entertainment...

no i wrestle on the independents and i have worked with king kong bundy greg the hammer ....honkey tonk man .....and many more and it is all staged it is entertainment....the booker tells you when you arrive in the building who is going over that night then you work out the match with the guy you are wrestling that night .hope this helped ....big daddy crush

Yes. All of them are. They are regulated by a panel including the tooth fairy, santa clause, bigfoot and tolerant republicans. Everything is real.
