Or can I copy songs from my Ipod to a CD or something like that, so I can somehow put them back into my computer... or am I just dreaming hopelessly? :((( please help, i don't want to download thousands of songs again (it's annoying and also risky)

Go to download.com, and search for iDump. This program will allow you to empty your ipod onto your PC so you can keep the songs. Have fun :)

Did the music files disappear from the Library only? If they did then they are still on your hard drive somewhere. If not you will need a 3rd party software to show and transfer the invisble music files that are on your iPod. Macs have Senuti, PCs have ?????

Normally when u plug your ipod into your computer it will ask you " ipod has found files on your ipod that are not in your music library would you like to transfer these files to your library?" and you should say yes? Not sure if i helped at all.

dont worry! theres a programm that is called pod- util
u can download it form the internet. it is perpsoly made for u to load songs from any ipod to your i tunes. it isnt completely free, but it helps and it isnt risky, now i can even take songs form my friend and put them on my library, without erasing everything!

dont worry i ahd the same problem with mine i just had to deleted all my songs on i pod and replace them take vit in where u got it from and ask them they will explain

Open ur iTUNES n thn on the tab click on ADVANCED and thn go down to 'consolidate library'. Hope this helps! :)
