Eddie did not die of pain killers, drugs none of that; it was the past that caught up to him in the present. It was early in the morning when they had found him dead in the bathroom of the hotel he was staying in; and in fact one of the people that had found him was Chavo, his nephew.
But yeah, it wasn't drugs in the present time that had got him dead, it was the past. In the autopsy report, Vickie said that there was cancer in the heart, and apparently he had been in some bad shape for quite awhile.
SO THERE. Wrestlers are stereotyped too much whenever they pass away at some abnormal age, and at an abnormal time.
Eddie also was brushing his teeth whenever he had fell to the ground; his heart gave out on him I am guessing, and it is sad to see it that way that it had happened just like that, at the snap of the fingers.

You guessed it right,he died of pulmonary faliure that was caused due to the aftereffects of the drug abuse............His heart was in a bad shape plus he was stressing more........by wrestling.
So he died

He died from a combination of all of that! Eddie admitted that he had taken drugs in the past and those drugs will hurt your body...even after you have gotten clean and stopped taking them. They leave damage to you. He also had a heart condition.
SO...add the damage from the drugs and the heart condition and that's how he died.

that news was reported a while ago. but I think what people mean when they say drugs or whatever killed him was that his heart was weakened from the past drug use and though he had been clean for 5 years or something, Eddie couldn't run or "steal life and cheat death". He sure will be missed.

I know he had heart problems from his dad. Eddie's father died from heart failure. So that cancer probably helped with the problems.
