Should smoking be banned in certain areas?

I'm tired of getting trapped in smokers' clouds on my college campus. They have even considered a total smoking ban on campus.

Should they ban smoking on campus, so that non-smokers don't have to breathe that crap and watch other people die in front of them?

I dont mind a bit of ciggy smoke every now and then, but there are some people that overdoit and absolutely reek all day long. i agree that some areas do need to be controlled

Not only on campus should it be banned but in place where people have to wait on line for the bus, there is always some jerk who has to make us breathe in his/her smoke.

Yes, of course. Smokers are so selfish, they make us breath all that smoke and never think about what we feel.

smoking is banned most places here in houston, texas.
they still allow it outside
they will be banning smoking in bars and clubs as well very soon.
we are like outsiders

Those people who go against the law, they should be severely punished as a reminder.

in my country smoking is banned in enclosed areas. it's done a great deal of good.

I live in a state where they have banned it from everything. Restaurants, work, bars. You name it.
