because these guys are astronomers and they use the north stars to navigate or guide them to tamasek, or what is now known as singapere.

do u know whr is Temasek?it's Singapore.we dun call it Temasek anymore. why sail to temasek using north star,anywhere which is north in direction,u use d north star.
