I am quite happy to see that people can call me a "fag", tell me I will get HIV, that I cannot marry or raise kids and get away with it in this room. Why is it that when I asked "what your favorite gay-themed movie is, I get a guidelines violation?"

The most recent one I really really enjoyed was C.R.A.Z.Y. It wasnt the central theme, but it was tied in very well.

Because some fundie got mad at you and reported it for some random non-existant violation? I dunno. But just to piss off whoever reported you, you can go to the Y!A forum and post your concern under the message thread about incorrect violations notices. They're actually pretty responsive over there in reviewing concerns and getting back to you. And if they decide you were right you get back all the points you lost when the question was removed.

It's probably some homophobe trying to tick someone off. And the homophobes get catered by Y!A a lot more than the more enlightened of us. Why do you think they keep reappearing?

Anyway, my favourite gay-themed movie is hands-down "Better Than Chocolate". The scene where Peter Outerbridge (as MTF Judy) sings "I'm Not A F*$*%ing Drag Queen" is utterly priceless and so is the "bathroom scene" between Karen Dwyer and Christina Cox (Maggie and Kim). You have to watch it if you haven't yet. If you have, watch it again.

Did you really? How ridiculous is that? Last weekI saw a question something like this: Why do nigge...blah, blah, blah? I could not believe it was allowed online. It is a horrible insensitive word, yet it was allowed online. I'd like to know who is the judge and jury on this stuff. I think you are fabulous, courageous, true to yourself, and deserving of all life has to offer just because you are not afraid to be who you are. There are straight people who can't be themselves and cannot tolerate whom you choose to keep company with or whom you partner with. By the way, "Prick Up Your Ears" with Gary Oldman, "The Velocity of Gary" with Vincent D'Onofrio are ones to see. I find that people who are interested in your sex life have freakish hang ups of their own. I mean who really cares what consenting adults do??

Who knows why they let some people get away with really rude and insulting comments and a simple question gets deleted. Idiots, I guess.
My favorite gay- themed movie is "Latter Days" for a drama, and for a comedy it's "Kiss my Guido."

Yeah, apparently YA is just as ignorant as most folks out there.

My favourite movie with gay characters is probably D.E.B.S. It was hilarous. Actually, I ended up seeing it because I accidentally put it on for my little sister's 10th birthday party. All of the kids loved it, so I had to watch it for myself. Now it is one of mine, and her favs.

It happens to many of us. You know that sometimes I think that the Yahoo moderators privilege the homophobics here?
