Probably not, unless we had high tech gizmos but then assuming that, we could probably live on the Sun or something. Other than the fact Jupiters atmosphere and surface are completely non-conductive to living organisms, the gravity, over time, would make really short people on that planet, and who likes short people? Not me.

Jupiter is only a slight mass lighter than a brown dwarf star. The gravity on Jupiter is immense. Your frame woudl not be able to support you , nevermind your heart be able to pump your blood against Jupiter's gravity. Anyone who even thinks it is possible to live on Jupiter is either insane or unknowledgeable. The physics alone will not support it. Nevermind the atmosphere, which is hostile to human beings.

-Humans couldn't live there. I think your teacher meant that some kind of life was possible. Life on Jupiter would be something like creatures that live in the deep ocean- thin, tenuous things like jellyfish, possibly even something like living blimps high in the Jovian atmosphere! It's certainly possible. As a guy in a movie once said: 'Life finds a way'...

in my research about planets, you cant live on jupiter because there's no oxygen on that planet coz jupiters atmosphere is made up of 75% of hydrogen and 24% of helium. Maybe there are liquids there but tose are not H2O. Those are liquid hydrogen that cannot be drink by humans,,,, the other one percent of its atmosphere are for other gases like methane and ammonia which we all know that those are deadly and poisonous...

You see Maria,
The surface of Jupiter is not like that of earth. Jupiter is made up of gases, mainly hydrogen.
So, in my opinion, you can't live on jupiter.

if your teacher says so hi can try that :) Jupiter has really unfriendly atmosphere for humans, only way to live there is to live in special unnatural environment inside of special buildings with air inside and it's pretty cold there, but it is more fantasy than reality :)
