Bihar had been a great seat of learning in ancient India. Beharis are very hard-working and intelligent but.... BUT

They have to get out of the tangle of Politician-casteism-criminal network....which I do not see in near future.

Mufatkhori...is the worst habit of beharis in Bihar..which should be eradicated first...Punjab is rich...at least 25% credit goes to Biharis who work hard there in agriculture...but when it comes to Bihar's turn..Biharis behave idiotically

Education => awareness=> less corruption=>development

I understand you're a public servant(?). Well, state development is a thorny subject. You have both urban and rural development issues. There is also the issue of whether development should be funded by the government or whether it should be private-led initiatives. For me, I believe that it should be something like 70-30 government led - privately supported.

This tandem does not happen overnight. It has to be drawn through organization the private sector so it has one voice and its resources are pooled for the purpose. One workable method is to organize Chamber of Trade and Commerce to unite businessmen (Some chambers have regular Business Forum) then enact a law giving incentives (tax holidays) to fresh investments on priority areas (or what Bihar needs most for development)

This brings you to the idea of zoning/land use. Where do you locate the manufacturing plants, agricultural areas, schools, resorts, etc. An area with slow progress in development or which cannot achieve its development targets usually has overlooked this long term plan on land use.

Remember, that there is a balanced development if rural folks do not troop to urban centers for jobs and commodities. Countryside development is alive if urban centers carrying load is dispersed rather than centralized.

You are already on the path of development , having thrown out a corrupt and incompetent government of Rabri and Laluprasad Yadav ! As an individual if you start behaving like a good Bihari, battle is half won.If you start telling other Biharis to behave like good Biharis, that is victory ! Pl do remember that Biharis who have left Bihar for other states or other countries are doing extremely well there. So nothing wrong with Biharis per se.Patliputra used to be the seat of power for one of the largest empires in the world. When you have such glorious past, it is easy to emulate the heros like ChandraGupta, Chanakya, Ashok..State of Bihar has laready taken lead in making RTI [ Right To Information] on line. You can use it to great advantage to expedite work on infrastructure, Law and Order as well as against corrupt practices of the stae administration.

Education is the main problem being faced by the people of Bihar. So it should be encouraged as much as possible. Women's should be given more freedom to outside and face the world rather than sitting at home and engaged in household work only. Innovations r 2 b made in every field.

Of course Sinha saheb the Bihar can change
1. You know Bihar is rich in minerals and other natural resources. Please make the proper use of resources.
2. Coal mines are burning rapidly please take some action regarding that.
3. Bihar people are intelligent and smart, but the only thing is they dont utilize their mind in correct direction. They use it for fraud and cheating others.
4. Lack of education.
5. I have some bihairs friends here, they are flourishing well. I think biharis require some right direction.
6. Lot of corruption. Lalu ji and nitish ji think for their welfare only and not for biharis.
7. Encourage companies to open their headquaters in bihar by giving an assurance they dont receive any threats from ohter parties.
8. Reduce kidnapping.
9. Please do not kill engineers who are working for highways and other plans for government.
10. You know i have seen lot of potential in biharis, all they need is a right direction and right resources.

Where shall you start?. Probably get together with few more people like you and demonstrate your slogans. Normally, you do that to protest the politicians. Here you have to educate your own people. These people have to stop doing all kinds of rubbish. They should live normally and peacefully. Distrupting public life, demolishing public properties, killing others, blidngly following these crooked politicians shamelessly.. all these guys have to leave. Have you ever seen a politician here that is simple and with one or two guys?. No. They are always accompanied by hundreds of goodas, rowdies. They pose as if they are great, trying to peak into the camera or trying to act like he is close to that crooked politicians. Don't you feel disgusting seeing so many shameless creatures posing as people in not only Bihar but in India? If Saddam gets killed, we burn our buses. If one politicains is jailed based because of corruption, we loot shops. Who is saying that India is poised?.

These followers should feel shameful. And what can you make them to feel so?. To host peaceful demonstrations. Find a park of somewhere, call the media and demonstrate.

First of all, develop yourself...I mean be matured enough to know your negatives n positives...then work for your improvisation buy patching up your negative side...this will make you understand how difficult it is for every one to come out of his negatives....it's a matter of determination. It takes it's own time.....to speed up the situation one should understand the purpose of life and work accordingly...his home, village, talk, dist, state n the whole country will improve. (In simple words...love every one and work hard for self and others)
