Wow. I just did acid for the first time. And its horrifiying. I just wanted to know why u like it. Whats so fun about the walls melting and falling in and out of attention, and a strong feeling of insanity?

Sound like you had quite a trip!

When I made the decision to experiment with narcotics, I determined to be as safe as possible, as safe as street drugs can be. I also wanted to "document" or at least observe as much of the experience as is reasonable. Basically tried to be "scientific" about the experience and the effects on my body.
What I enjoy about LSD is the heightened awareness it produces. Colours are more vivid, sounds are amplified, odours are more intense, food tastes great! I suppose the intensity of it differs in everyone, as does the ability/constitution to handle the intensity. For example, if I have a 'bad' trip, let's say I have a really freaked out hallucination, I try to remind myself that it's all in my mind, and then I try to control the hallucination. See if I can make it "do stuff".
I find that acid, while intense in it's high, still leaves the user that much more in control than other 'softer' drugs...

Like soren said, Different strokes for different folks. I haven't done acid for years but found the high a totally enjoyable experience, heightened sensitivity to everything...but you must be comfortable with the people around you and your surroundings, those two things seem to be key to a good trip.

I don't know I did it a few times....the last being when we got pulled over by the police because we were driving in a 80's cadillac in a blizzard with no windows....and that's a true story that was about 10 years ago and I haven't done it since it was terrible

Drugs affect people differently. Not everyone is wired the sameway. I have friends who smoke pot. One day he thought it would be funny to blow pot in my face. Instead of making my high, I was sick for three days.
