I like most of the things that he said, he's just not an inspirational public speaker, a bit monotone and unexpressive.
I would have said many of the same things, but I would have been standing on the podium, and those smirking democrats would have been lined up against the wall for a browbeating.
When you have a bully pulpit, use it!

The only thing Bush rocked was the pebbles in his head!!!!!he is certainly not the sharpest crayon in the box, but says what he thinks the people want to hear. The only thing he has done in the past 6 years is make the U.S. hated more in the world and cause bloodshed. Oh he also ammended lots of laws to restrict peoples rights so we can be free, NOT!!!!!!!!!!

I thought is sounded like a bunch of empty promises. Like you can run but you can't hide. Stay the course. ect.
He would do or say anything at this point and he tried to do that. Why you would think it rocked is disturbing to a rational person.
