Snow here looks pretty but is causing the usual traffic chaos. The gritting teams were out so the roads not too bad. Have not gone out yet am retired so there's no rush to go out and roll in the snow. Anyway, there is a continuous light fall of snow, so maybe it will creap up the side of the house to a six foot high pile. Last time we had that was back in c1947 when I was six.

Oh yes! My 18 year old daughter didnt have college today but i woke her up saying i want you to see something and you can go back to bed straight after. Well she was delighted, and got up and took her camera out to take photos. My garden is by the river and the whole lot looks so beautiful like a proper winter wonderland. My white dovecote, snow on top, and the pure white doves peeping out was incredible! The kids havent had snow like this for years, some of them will never have seen it like this! Hope they all have fun today - lets not be miseries about a bit of snow!

I'm not quite sure what your question is, but yes-- snow makes a lot of people happy, including me! If only I could stand the cold temperatures!
I love snow either way. And kids definitely love snow, especially when school is cancelled. ;)

I have seen snow falling here but it melted as soon as it touched the ground. I have never seen snow lying outside the house. I was 11 before I saw snow and it was another 29 years before I saw it again.

Yup. Great...
What if I say that in my country (Armenia) it snows already a month and it's 10 F outside.
That's what I call "we have snow", but kids are not happy at all. We're hunger for sunlight.

My children were thrilled but it's a school day and the snow doesn't look like the lasting kind where we are, so I don't think it'll fulfill their snow ball/ snowman fantasies really.

I think snow has a funny affect on people who don't see it that often it brings out a nice side of people I think.
Pity I have to go to work today :(
