well wash them the same way you wash wool jumpers, I always use washing soap especially for woollen ´s, gently rub your woolly hat´s then rinse don´t squeeze the living day lights out of them , then get a towel and lay them on top to drain out some water ,then take another towel & gently roll then in the towel, this will take most of the water out leave them for 5 to 10 min´s then hang them where there is plenty air , yes I know you can´t put them outside , so hang them near a window if that can´t be done then near a heater but not on top of it, water temp around 30c

I wash them by hand. Don't really rub them this way and that. I just soak it and squeeze the [dirt] out. Then i rinse it with some good softener, that seems to give the spring back to the wool. I gently squeeze the water out and hang it like the rest of the Uk on or in front of the radiator. :))

Check label if there is one. Wool is best washed by hand, you don't need to spend ages just dunk 'em a few times, rinse well and lay out to dry pref not directly on a radiator.

the best way to wash any woolens is to wash them in not too hot soapy water, then rinse well and make sure to add comfort or other softener to the rinsing water, to make them nice and soft.
