I have two broken PS2s. One probably has a broken motherboard and the other the dvd rom is not working properly. Is it possible to swap the two dvd drives without any problems. The first ps2 is a lot older than the slighly newer one (both ps2s are not slim models), will there be any problem with the bios to swap the drives out.

It woul'd be very complicated to do that and if you do it you may run the risk that your ps2 will not work at all.
