A spaghetti strap top has very thin straps--just like the noodle!

A tank top has thicker straps.

A camisole is generally more lingerie-like and is used as a top to go under a cardigan, dress suit, etc.

A camisole has abuilt in bra, but a tank top does not. A Camisole is usually thinner than the tank top, but that's only for the ones I bought, I don't know about the general.

a camisole "short for "cami" these days. looks kind of like a cute pajama top and is usually lacey at the top and layered under something else like a bolero- jacket- or sweater of somekind. But not always.
