I'm with Jake, but I also want to know... What your question supposed mean? You talk about hiccups or hickeys?

Hiccups are caused by a spasm of the diaphragm (the muscle that controls the expansion & contraction of the lungs).

DO YOU MEAN HICCUPS?! if it is hiccups you were referring to, well it is due to the involuntary jerky contraction of the diaphragm muscle that is brought about by any irritation or stimulation.

the most general and simple reson is that your body needs water and thats the body's way of telling or indicating that. so next time you get hiccups drinkd lots more water and that;ll cure it
