You probably mean needlepoint, which is usually called tapestry. Put 'needlepoint' into a search engine and see if it brings up what you're looking for.

A true tapestry is woven, but needlepoint is stitched on canvas, usually using wool. It's really easy to do - pop into your local craft shop and they should sell kits which provide you with a printed canvas and all the wool you need - a bit like painting by numbers but sewing instead!

There are some good kits available, my local shop showed me how to do it. If you are genuinely interested in learning they will help. It only takes 5 mins to learn. It is very time consuming so get a small printed canvas to start with.

Try these folks. www.ctw-tapestry.com. Its not terribly difficult in the main, just time and material intensive.
