satisfaction means that their inner self says yes i am really very happy with my marriage and not to justify to console themselves.

It is very difficult to judge, because mejority of the people say that they are satisfied with their marriage life. inner feeling we cannot understand.

It is difficult to calculate the exact percentage. However my assumptions are as followings -
1. Very Satisfied (5) - 20% - 30%
2. Satisfied (4) - 30% - 40%
3. Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied (3) - 30% - 10%
4. Dissatisfied (2) - 10%
5. Very Dissatisfied (1) - 10%

Why talk only about Indians here. Is it any different with the rest of the world. Do you mean to visualise that Indians are generally not satisfied with their marraiges. Then why there are more divorces in the other countries than India. Do you think it's because Indians compromise???
Well to gain something you gotta lose something. You gotta sweat to taste the bread, you gotta run to stay ahead, similarly when two different individuals become partner for life they gotta compromise at some terms. Here, if any of the pair thinks more about his/hers compromising part, he/she would be dissatisfied. But if the think of the results, what their compromise has brought in, they'd be satisfied.
Of all the pairs, old and young I've ever seen, believe me, just 5 percent seemed to be discontent with their partner.
