A few years ago, some researchers concluded that Earth's problem, (green house gases), is exactly what Mars needs to make it habitable. Its thin, cold, dry atmosphere could possible be changed by what is destroying our environment. The answer is yes, it is very possible to terraform a planet, but it wouldn't be easy!

Easily. Just start driving all of our cars on Mars. Move all of the coal burning plants there too, and the global warming we hate so much here will warm things up there and get water flowing. Once that happens, its just a matter of time before Mars is overpopulated and we need to move to Europa.

It has to do with the crust.Also gravity pull must be very close to ours.Distance from the sun,suns energy reacing surface.Rotation rate.Permafrost.Size matters,lol......
