Course he,s too old. I,m nearly 27 and never had breakfast in bed yet.
She needs to stop mummying him. He,s 19 and should be able to get out of bed and make his own breakfast. What,s he going to do when mummy,s not there ?

hi, too right he should get his own, i have a 19yr old son who would be quite happy if i took him breakfast in bed everyday, but i wouldn't, i thought i was soft still doing his washing and cleaning up after him but that takes the biscuit, tell your son to give his head a shake and make his own it will do him good in the end, i wish i had started with mine sooner but no way would i be taking him his breakfast in bed, im learning mine how to use the washer etc now, i have a 17yr old daughter too who even thinks this is weird, so take note that is coming from a teenager. good luck i know its hard when one parent thinks its OK, he will never want to leave home he has it too good where he is, he will need to find a good wife that will do that for him.

well my opinion is that yeah he's a little too old for his mommy to be babying him like that. its like the 6 year old who still gets breast fead ya know? i mean is ur son disabled? does he have some sort of illness? if not than he has to learn how to do things himself because in the future he probably wont have anyone to rely on doing that for him. i'm pretty sure that even when he gets marride, his wife wont want to do that. i know his mom is proabbly worried that her little baby is growing up and doesn't want him to leave but i think it would be for the best to prepare him for the real world. and Mom can help by making him get off his butt and make himself some breakfast in kitchen. its ok for special ocassions. or how about he makes his mom breakfast in bed once in a while? oh and wuts a weetabix? so yeah thats what i think. hope you like :)

Mother's will always baby their children no matter what age. I think that as long as he doesnt expect more, like he never does any chores or he is not in school or he has no job, then I don't see a problem with it. Maybe he needs helps getting up in the AM? I would love to have breakfast in bed, but I have 2 infants to take care of lol

I've gotten my own breakfast every day of my life since I was 3. With, of course, the exceptions of the few times I have gone out to breakfast, and the 1 time in my life I had breakfast in bead.
I don't think it's too old for breakfast in bead, it's just a matter of if you want to get it for him and prepare it, etc. If you don't want to, then you shouldn't. I mean, he is 19.

OOOHHH hell yeah ... what a mummy's boy .. ICK ..
God Help the woman he ends up with
making a person ... any person .. breaky in bed EVERYDAY is somewhat over-doting ..
breaky in bed should be reserved for special occassions OTHERWISE the person getting their breaky in bed will take it for granted and just expect it ALL the time..
DOES he ever get up and make HER breaky to thank her?
Don't listen to those who are asking if you are jealous .. I have a very strong dislike for kids and adults who are spoilt little brats.
Then again .. it is the rod his mother has made for her own back ( and the woman her son ends up with ... if indeed anybody EVER comes up to mummy's standards) ....don't worry too much about it yourself.

Of course he is too old. What is his mother trying to do to him. Does she want him to be a mummy's boy for all of his life. He should be up and getting his own breakfast or he will never be able to look after himself

Eveyday? That seems a little much to me. When my brother was 19, my mother was "incouraging" him to find his own place. He had his own job, and he was in school. She wasn't waking up every morning making him breakfast. That sounds a little crazy to me. But you need to talk to his 'mummy', about it, not us.
And what are weetabix?? I wanna know too!

I think that EVERYBODY is too old for breakfast in bed. You should be responsible enough to get dressed, go downstairs and fix something for yourself from the age of 12. Before that you should, at the least, be able to get dressed and go downstairs.
Breakfast in bed is for special occasions if you are lucky.
PS. His mother should not be his maid.

Only if he's physically or mentally disabled, he is way too old for this sort of pampering! He should be out on his own, fixing his own breakfast. Now, if he ever moves out, he will expect the same treatment from any woman he's with. This should stop.
