I'd feel miserable - because, though I am fairly well-off, I have no intentions of ever joining the pot-bellied, high-blood-pressure prone, bunch of diabetics - who generally comprise the 'rich' brigade !

I think I would be a little happy. People usually think you are rich when you dress nicely or you are put together nicely. meaning you dress well and are probably good looking. people who dont have a lot of money usually wear more beat of clothing and tend to have not as good manners. so I would take that as a compliment. Unless they thought u looked rich because you were snotty

I would be happy, because people have a tendency to believe rich people are more clean,respectable, and 'nice' looking than people with less money.

I would say Thank You, then tell them I'm not rich ,I'm just an average Joe who works just like everyone else, but I would appreciate the compliment.

I'd be slightly offended because they'd probably be saying it in order to say something like "you are just a spoiled little rich kid who doesnt understand the real world".

I'd be happy! I don't get offended that easily. Besides it's not like they insulted you or used a bad word. it's all in the mind how people react to a bad/good situation.
