If I heard that on my answering machine I would answer to it and find out what they have to say. Everyone should be allowed to be heard no matter what happened or the circumstances.

Depends on what they were saying sorry for........if was something like forgetting my birthday or saying the wrong thing...yeah well....may make him sweat it a little if was really mad.
If was cause dude was cheating and got busted or hurt my child....Hell NO!
