Don't know about cruise lines, but Sam's Town is where you want to stay in Vegas. Make use of their shuttle to get over to the strip to see all the sites. Don't forget to see at least one show while you are there.

My parents went on a cruise four years ago. They were on one of the Royal Caribbean ships - it was either the Voyager of the Seas or Adventure of the Seas. I do know that they had a pretty good time on this cruise.
