A mother and father who adopted me and my twin sister. They were nearly fifty years old and not really wealthy but when the agency said they had twin babies they decided to take two of us instead of one. They worked their whole lives to raise us and love us like their own. After a sixty year marriage, they died six months apart. I miss them more than anything in the world.

No one I didn't walk until I was 18 months old. My mom told me that she and dad wanted to help but I'd freak if anyone tried to help me. If I could not reach from the table to the couch I would not take that step to make it. i just wouldn't try it.

depends....if you are talking literal.....my stepdad taught me to walk....if you are talking emotionally....my first true love taught me to take baby steps in love cause crawling out is hard......If you are talking spiritually....God is helping me to find my way.
