Did you notice how the troublemakers on this site that make racist, rude, and insulting comments on here are the ones who hide behind their screenname and avatar, you can't email them or IM them, but yet they are always on here starting topics to hype everyone up. That's like slapping someone and running lol, why do we (as in grown, civilized, mature adults) even bother to participate in their stupid topics? I think this site would be much peaceful if we completely ignored them, reporting them will work, but they come back, so whats the point?

I agree with you...but as long as there are smart people, there will be the ignorant people also. When I see the racist comments, I ignore them, and laugh that some people can actually be so closed minded. I'll bet that most of these racist comments wouldn't even be said to someone's face.

What do you think this question is going to do? It's going to hype people up and start trouble. It's impossible for everyone to see eye to eye and agree with everyones opinions, so if someone gets on here and says something that you see as offensive or racist it doesn't mean that they don't have the right to get on here and have their opinion, much like you have here. And not everyone on here wants a endless stream of strangers emailing them or sending them IM's.

Live and let live;) Democracy is when everyone can express their own opinions; if someone does it the wrong way, insulting or disrespecting other people, he/she will be reported, as easy as that. Those who'll decide to ignore them will ignore them, those who'll decide to answer back, will answer back :you cannot take away the right of speech from anybody as stupid as some of them may be. You'll never get to a mutual admiration society online due to the points you raise. There will always be some "piece of work" slinging their garbage to incite or get you to stoop to their level. By you refraining from commenting on their feeble rantings, you take the wind from their sails. Soon they will go away and bother someone else. Welcome to the downside of free speech.
