I may overuse it with my family or true friends but to abuse it, no.
Those three words never leave my lips unless they are meant. I can tell a person that I love them as a friend, but as a lover, I can't let those words slip out so causally as some people do.
I have been in several relationships that the man would say they loved me and expect me to say it back to them. I couldn't so the relationships didn't last too long after that. They couldn't appreciate the fact that I wouldn't lie to them just to SAY the words.
I love the words too much to abuse or overuse.....
BTY, when it is said to your lover and meant, no more sweeter words could be said if it is mutual.

I love to tell my girls and my friends that I love them.....I would never abuse the word Love .....I was raised with so much love and I continue to carry on this tradition.....its hard to understand ,but when you have lost so many loved ones in your life, you never want to lose that love in your in your heart and I say it many times a day because I have so much Love in my heart to give.....I believe if people love themselves they can learn to love one another and we would have a better world..... kara

No i dont.. i only use it as and when necessary, and i expect the same from anyone saying it to me..
those are sacred words and should not be thrown around unecessarily..

I only tell that to my daughter and i really mean it deep down my heart so i dont abuse it or misuse it because i always mean it.
