like fast gobledegook. I have a spanish friend who has such a thick accent, even when she speaks english I don't always understand. I tell her I haveno idea what she's saying!

Watch Spanish TV programs. I don't speak
Spanish, or even understand much of it.
I just love the sound of it.

I love the way Spanish is sounds when it isn't whiny . . . I have a friend from Ecuador and I love the way her Spanish sounds . . . I've taken it for years and still can't speak it -- although I can understand when it isn't whiny.

I love to hear a Spanish man talk. It's sexy and smooth. My man is Spanish American but he don't speak it his mother does and I ask him why didn't he learn it and he just said that he never really wanted to. But the love music is so romantic to hear.

It always reminds me of my mom yelling at me, even when I speak it now! My mother is from Mexico, and when she'd get angry at me, she'd always switch over from English to Spanish because she could express her anger more quickly!
However, I imagine that for most people who don't speak Spanish, it sounds very much how other languages (like German, Cantonese, etc) sound to me ... intriguing, but confusing.

frankly, i think it's a lovely language. that's why i'm learning it now. plus spanish songs are usually pretty wonderful too.

usualy too fast to understand. I can usaly grasp it if I can hear it slowly, but Spanish speakes dont speak slowly.
