Well...Kobe decided to change his uniform number from 8 to 24 because it was the number that he wore in Lower Merion High School.

He said in an interview that his career has gone by so fast that he wanted to start enjoying each day all 24 hours so he changed his number to 24 to remind himself to enjoy things more.

haha nah he is not better then jordan... he just changed it cause he wants to forget about his trial... kinda to start over... he picked the number 8 at first b/c that was the suns head coach's # (mike d antoni) when he played in the european league... but now he is just looking for a new starting point
