First of all, he is not a Muslim. He is a member of a Church of Christ congregation and quite active in his church from all the reading I have done. His father was a Muslim turned agnostic and his mother was a non participating Christian. I'm not sure what you have heard to make him a liar, but I respect his honesty towards his younger life in which he, unlike the former President Clinton, has admitted he made some poor choices towards drug use and education. Thankfully, he from some enlightenment came to realize his life was on the wrong course and made decisions that lead him on a path to a Law degree and then on to the Senate. With this all said I cannot say I will be voting for Mr. Obama, but it's too early and there are many issues that need to be addressed. For his honesty about drug use, I could quite possibly consider voting for him which would be unusual considering I have always voted Republican in National elections.

I think you need to learn more about him. First, he is not Muslim. He is Christian (United Church of Christ). Second, if you got that fact wrong, perhaps your other facts about him are wrong. What makes him a sleaze and a liar? Actually, if you read his books, he is much more open, honest, and candid about his personal life than almost any other politician there is. George W. Bush and the Republican party fought long and hard to keep many documents about Bush buried so people couldn't find out about his past. Barack Obama has laid it all out in the open. I find his honesty refreshing, even when I don't always agree with him. I voted for him for senator and will probably vote for him for president. If John McCain runs, it will make my choice more difficult, but McCain has been pandering to the far right lately to get their support, so maybe not.

He's neither a sleaze, a liar, nor a Muslim (Wow, I can't believe people are buying into this propaganda. He was and still is a Christian.) Even if he was a Muslim, that would have not impact on my decision on whether or not to vote for him.

I don't care for him either but why call him a sleeze? Ok maybe he qualifies because of his far left wing voting record. Besides Hillary will tear him a new one. lol

No, I wouldn't vote for him because he is too inexperienced. He is not a Muslim. He is a Christian. He went to a Muslim school when he was a kid, but changed his religion to Christianity some time ago.

Chelsea, he is a muslim and Hilliary exposed him as such. As a muslim he considers all non muslims as infidels, and all infidels are to be converted or killed. That alone is a good reason to not vote for any Muslim to hold a political office. IF you can't defeat an enemy militarily, then do it politically. Politics is the one way to defeat the US.

I would not vote for him. I think he is too new to the national scene, he does not have the influence needed, and his public speaking ability makes for a good show but not much more.

Well, I actually would (though I'm going to wait and see what all the people running do in the next year). I saw him in an interview, an thought he sounded really smart and funny, and like he really cared. And what evidence do you have that he is a "sleaze and a liar"? (besides the fact that he is a politician) lol. Like I said, I'm waiting to see what they do and how they act in the next year before I decide. Well, Have an awesome day! :)

The fact that he is muslim would have nothing to do with it, but no, I wouldn't vote for him. His politics just don't mesh with the way I think.

No and I agree but the biggest issue that I have, well two issues actually; he doesn't acknowledge that he is half White and he has very little experience.
