"One Rapist,One Noose" see News 24 .com regarding the demonstration outside Scottburgh Court led by Steve Hofmeyr at the Trial of 3 scumbags. Seems they are not convinced by Mbeki's "crime is a perception" and maybe even the Proudly South Africans will begin to awake from the denialist slumber ( Where are you Anria? You spent last year on this site from the safety of London telling everyone Scottburgh was "safe" and there was no crime.) Your news sites have almost a weekly report of Police being involved in the violent crime ( although toned down to read "dressed as Police." Funny how the unforms fit perfectly and they drive Police marked vehicles.) The ANC is looting your Country using its criminal henchmen. All your cities are unsafe and Pretoria residents want to take the Metro to Court for not allowing them to protect themselves. Are you heading towards vigilantism and isn't it better to warn Tourists against visiting until it is safe to do so.

Patti - I have nothing against the many decent South Africans. My concern is with the denialist South Africans who like you seemingly do not believe/accept that South Africa is the most violent Country in the World other than those in a War Zone. The Tourists from Europe go there believing the Rainbow Nation propaganda and are then subjected to the most violent attacks and rape etc.In denying that crime is bad you are then party to the violence that these people encounter. Common decency seems in short supply in South Africa ( look at the answers) and the smell of manure is more appropriate to South Africa than roses.

Gunner - On the Rugby,Cricket etc. Not my sports but I needed the quick points to ask questions before I become Alf 5. You are correct that living in South Africa is only for the foolhardy but you are wrong about my character. From your previous answers it becomes clear you are self-employed and for the interim can buy your way out of the crime but it wont last forever. It is also clear your attitude is "I'm alright Jack" and you dont care for your fellow citizens or humanity in general.A selfish deluded fool who will be the first to whine to the West when the criminals come knocking on your door.

Jack - In many ways you are correct but you have to factor in the tribalism that is still rife in Africa. The Zulu's are a sleeping giant and if Zuma is not elected as the next President there could be a lot of trouble in Natal. Properly harnessed that could lead to a revolt against the Xhosa/ANC.

The tide hasn't started to turn against the ANC yet because there are still too many morons that believe the crap they spew, only once the majority of the population have been totally dis enfranchised by their own will the tide then turn, the black people as a whole believe their own leaders and follow like sheep to the slaughter house, i say let them experience the pleasure of miserable black rule and see the paradise that awaits them, god willing the next generation will be better educated and more capable to actually decide who they want to lead the country.

I think that the people of South Africa are slowly starting to realize what the ANC is doing .
Now that ID and DA have joined forces their is definately more hope for SA.If they can succeed in Turning Cape Town into a "democratic" province that is successful. Then i am sure the other provinces will follow.
All we need is for IFP to join them in Natal and the other provinces will follow.
VIVA DA!!!

I think that is it a gorvernment issue the wrong people gets appionted.
The ANC started out as being reasonable (that was when Mandela was still president) but everyone knows what happen when one always gets want he wants he start to abuse it that is what is happening to South Africa.
If people who had done wrong just say it and dont hide it any more then we can start to work together as soon as the fingers stop pointing to the apartheids years things will get better.
The apartheid ended more than 10years ago but still everyone is going on about it.
Now the government is spending money on name changes while people is dying of aids and poverty, people get killed, raped still they see the need to change they names of places which they didnt even build.
Stop spending money on things like that and stop corruption them only will it get better in this country
