There are two small Chevrolet trucks...the S-10 and the Colorado... The Colorado came out in 2004 the same year that the S-10 was discontinued.

GMC has the Sonoma (S-10) and the Canyon (Colorado)

As far as novelty design... Chevrolet came out with the SSR for a couple of years (Kinda looks like something from the Jetsons)

Ageree with most, radiator. You cannot "fix" a corroded/plugged radiator. Anything corrosive enough to actually remove scale and deposits from galvanic corrosion (google that, be the only one in your class who understands why antifreeze is so necessary besides freeze protection) ni the radiator, would eat the radiator itself. Over time, without changing coolant properly, the radiator loses efficiency due to restriction from what I mentioned. The only way to "repair" them is to rod them, have the core replaced, or buy another radiator. The aluminum/plastic radiators are dirt cheap, just get another one. Trust us. Why the hell would you drive it faster when it's overheating? You don't have enough schooling under your belt to make that call, and here is where I am going to help you: If a vehicle starts to overheat, SHUT IT OFF! Right there, right then, shut it off. The faster you go, the harder the engine works, and the more heat it develops. The worst thing you can do is keep driving, let alone drive faster. *If* it's low on fluid, the temp gauge will also be inaccurate, as they are made to measure coolant temp, and air is a poor conductor...what they show as temp in air will take FAR longer to change than if it were in coolant. The temp of the coolant at the cylinders is far higher than it is where the temp gauge measures, so overheating at the gauge is really an even larger problem at the cylinders/head gasket.

Well there are only 4 small trucks. The SSR(ugly beyond reason),The Colorado(S10 modern replacement), The S10, and The El Camino(the prerequisite to the S10 and one hell of a truck)

For your description i can think about in three options:
1) S-10 its a classic one its smaller than the 1500 and silverado
2) LUV there was one option produced in Mexico and south america that was disscontinued in the 2000 i think.
3) Tornado its the pick up version of the Chevy ( its a small car used also in mexico and south america i think, its a design from opel )it look something like El Camino pickup with the ifference this one is a small car you should check it they look funny check the link bellow

Older style could be Chevy Luv,Also it might be an S10 body style, also chevy took over the tracker line from geo when they disbanned . Try to get v.i.n. number and you can work it from that angle. Good luck

The s10 series are the smallest chevy makes, and girls seem to like to s10 extremes which are like the s10's but have a nicer body kit on them, and generally lower and sleaker looking, definiatly not offroad trucks., and very sexy.

Was it older? They have the Colorado, it's small, and VERY cute, but it is a newer type, like from the last couple of years.

that's not enough info lol you didn't happen to see the model name? because that's the most useful thing to have haha it's possible it was a discontinued model, and that's why you didn't find it on the website. That happened to me with my truck, since it was an '86.
