well i will continue to exist, but i have been using that very same theory to grow some indifference about these "woes" of mine that really mean nothing. once that is accomplished i should no longer desire to cease existing.

When you have decided to end the life, there should not be any limits what you can do or not.
Just study and understand why so many people live in such heinous and most difficut conditions.
Help those in need instead of ending your life.
You will get interested in life.
Any way ending life is not a solution because of the single reason that birth or life is not what you have created and only the nature has the right to end the life, then you are not in difficult conditions also.

wow. Then let us affirm our existence together through the cessation of the existence itself. Though, You saying "that all individual endeavor is ultimately a waste of time and will not matter when put in perspective" is totally wrong. The fact that you asked this type of question invokes an overabundance of emotions. It will impact every responder by default. So now I come back to my original proposal... shall we give the world a going away show? For I too am overly intelligent, and see no further need to enlighten the hopeless.

Here's my take on it. Our brains are capable of asking certain questions that have no simple answer. We wonder if things exist if we are not there to observe them, we wonder why our personalities are ours and not someone else's, why were were born when we were, etc... We are capable of killing ourselves over these questions. They simply have no answer. The fault in our brains is that we can't find an answer to a question we can ask.
Monkeys, dogs, fleas, lions, etc... don't sit around wondering why they are here, what their purpose is, etc... We do. How ironic that we are looking so hard for something that isn't there and actually stop living b/c of it. Just b/c we have big brains doesn't mean we have some cosmic purpose. I assure you we don't
This revelation can be very liberating! You have no obligation to anyone. Go anywhere you want, do what you want. It makes no difference. You will be dead in anywhere from 1-70 years from now. Just live!
If you want to kill yourself anyway, go do something you never had the guts to do, be a photographer, have sex with hot women, travel to exotic lands. Whatever.

Well i decided against mediocore existance when i was twelve years old, but i decided to give it enough time to see how it would pan out. You have to realize that you live your life through your perceptions, go find something interesting to do, find the love of your life, mine is judo (the sport and martial art) take up spelunking or skydiving, who knows? I know that i am completely insignificant and worthless to all of creation, frankly i don't care. When i was fourteen i decided to try conciet, turns out, loving myself was the best thing that ever happened to me, sure i can love other people but i love myself more.
So give it some more time, a couple years at least so maybe something can happen, try a variety of things, i mean really diversify it, if nothing pans out and you still want to off yourself, i guess go ahead, it will suck, i personally think that people that can benefit the world should, suffering sucks, maybe go ease some suffering somewhere, if you can't make your life worth living, go make someone elses.

Living should not be for a reason, but for a desire.
Is there a reason you should have sex? One asking, "Why should I have sex," is someone who obviously doesn't have the desire to have it. The desire is something natural, born in and is the product of a health brain/body.
Living should be the same way. Babies first born are happy to be alive and enjoy life. But for many people (including myself), that healthy part is made to a lesser degree, mostly by life experiences.
Some people are born genetically with a greater desire and happiness in life, some people have discovered the right nutrition for it, others have practiced at it and have learned to manage it, and there are many others who are already living in conditions where it takes less work for them to be happy.
It is only natural to want to live, and that should be the reason. Alot of it has to do with creativity, visions for the future, love, and the longing to be and connect with others. If you don't have any of that, then obviously there appears to be no reason to live. But if others can have it, you can too.
But even if you still find no reason, why not Create one? Anything worthwhile, is worthwhile creating...

wow, I know exactly what you feel. I feel suicidal sometimes too, just because nothing ever happens with me! I consider my life to be uneventful too, but sometimes you have no idea what can come your way and surprise you. Since I thought my life was boring, I was convinced I, as a person, was even more boring. I was dissatisfied with everything. I'm always looking for that something extra, which I never find, because I haven't figured what it is. But last summer, this really amazing guy asked me out. And you have no idea how that shocked me! Because I believed I wasn't worth anything. And I told him that too, but he said so many things about me that he liked, and that changed me completely. I realized that no matter what, there's a way out, and there is always something for YOU. We aren't together anymore, but I guess I came across him just to learn more about me. =)
I'll tell you this. Don't do it. Things always change. Trust me. There are so many wonderful things you haven't experienced yet, and what's more, so many things waiting to experience you!You never really know, hehe.
keep smiling =)

Wow for a guy who thinks a lot, you have a long ways to go to really think clearly. Our primal instinct is survival, and wanting to kill yourself goes against everything your ancestors worked for. I think you should not commit suicide because it would be like walking out of a mystery movie without checking out the ending. Think of it like "sixth sense" the movie, it may be a boring movie until you realize the punch line towards the end. I think with your question today, you are off to an amazing journey, because most people are looking for answers in life, not knowing their questions. Good luck, and if you still want to call it quits to life, let me know cause I got a few very exciting projects i am doing that may be worth your while before you go. :)

ahh...man...you know, normally I would tell the person not to do it...But in your case, I think its ok, your just... I'll just make an exception. I think the best thing for you to do, is stand over a highway, and just jump...try getting really drunk, then take shrooms and ambient...that should get you ****** up enough to edo it....o well...I try lord, I try to stop them! waaaaa..
you are nothing special..you are another blog...another nothingness...you will perpetually be bored your entire life...so why not...do it and it will be over...and then you don't have to worry about any of this crap..hell..here..
I'll give you the inertial device I made...a gravitonics device...if you want...that should really make it a blast...be careful not to turn the dial too much or you will do a inlet in the space time curvature of the Earth which will increase until the globe is 'inside out' ...yea...or in other words...you will create an interdimentional black hole which will collapse one bane and destroy the ver yexistance of the entire Universe.
So that would be kinda a bad. so yea.
my email is tiberianfallout@hotmail.com....send me your address I will send you the device...good luck.

You are in the exact same position that many great men have been in. You have come to the point of no point. This is the moment of epiphany. Thomas Edison, Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Einstein. If you read the autobiographies of the greatest minds in history, you will recognize your position immediately. It is most important now, that you do not kill yourself, because this moment will pass, with or without you. Be patient with yourself. You have it backward. Existance does not prove it's worth to us. We prove our worth to existance. If you see life as mundane, that is because it is. But you are in a perfect position to change that, in the same way that Beethoven, Mozart, Picasso, Shakespeare, Steven Hawkings, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and Benjamin Franklin changed it. Don't give up. We need you.

My dear friend it seems that you have seen it all or have been through it all.... It looks like that this world has nothing to offer to you anymore..... i feel for you... :-(
But there's hope, isn't it... :-) How about going back to basic or simple meanings...
Try to go out,,,,, enjoy an ice cream while walking down the street, help an old lady to carry her heavy load, give one smile to a helpless child or carry in your lap and feel the innocence of a newborn baby....
Since you've come to a point where you think there's no more way out,,,,, how about going back,,,,, then make a way to find a new path or a new journey for you to discover another new happiness, a new purpose and a new meaning to this lonely and superficial wild world of us...
Simple things may mean great reasons.....
Ooooops i almost forgot,,,, try to FALL IN LOVE AGAIN.... :-)
