I'm almost done converting my microwave oven into a 2 seater extragalactic shuttle. After I finish installing the seat belts, Wanna come with me for a test drive?
According to Special Relativity proposed by my good buddy Albert E., the total energy of an object increases as its speed increases and approaches infinity as the object's speed approaches the speed of light. This means that it would take an infinite amount of energy to accelerate an object to the speed of light. Thus, any physical object, (including you and I) can't travel at a speed of light.
Microwave oven can only crank out so much horse-power. =P

The answer is no. As you approach the speed of light your mass becomes infinite. The human body would be incapable of handling the change required to reach light-speed. NASA has managed to get a few of it's rockets to nearly 1 million mph using the sun's gravitational pull but those rockets were unmanned and that speed is nowhere near the 670,616,629.384 mph that light travels.

I personally know from experience that you can't. The worlds fastest runner broke his record just slightly faster than 23 mph. The speed of light is 670,616,629 mph. You gotta ways to go...
The faster you go, the more energy is required to accelerate you faster by the same amount. Going from 0 to 1 mph may take a certain amount of energy. Going from 1 to 2 mph takes slightly more. The closer you get to the speed of light, the closer the amount of energy needed to get you there gets to infinity.
Particle accelerators can get individual particles close to the speed of light, but they can't quite make it there.

No. Not possible, with the current answers. It is impossible for anything with mass to accelerate to the speed of light. It causes the mass to surpass infinity. Which would then cause it to turn into a singularity.

It is absolutely impossible, because you will be light itself instead of being human. You might want to travel a little slower, like faster than sound speed.

It is possible if you could somehow convert the human mass into energy(as in light) and then transfer it to your destination and convert that energy back into mass. you probably would not survive though. Maybe you should test it before you decide to go.:-)

You can approach speed of light, but NOT attain it. So the answer is NO (according to all nutty physics thought of so far)
