Given that we share the vast majority of our genetic material with yeast, it is more likely that we evolved terrestrially. We are too closely related to every other living thing on the planet to consider alien origins, unless of course ALL life on earth came from elsewhere. The theory is called panspermia if you want to research it.

As for the last question. Monkeys did not evolve into man, man and monkey both evolved simultaneously from a common ancestor to better suit particular environmental niches. You might as well ask why we still have algae, given that if you go back far enough we evolved from that too...

It seems highly unlikely unless all life on earth came from somewhere else. There are just too many similarities between humans and other animals to make it possible that we come from some other planet while primates and other mammals are from earth. As I recall, humans and chimps have about 99% identical DNA. That pretty much rules out the idea that humans came from outer space while chimps evolved here.

To your last statement, the actual scientific hypothesis is that both man and the primates (not monkeys!) evolved from a common ancestor. Consider them our distant cousins with whom we share X-great grandparents, where X is a very large number.

the element to undergo in concepts is moves which include you propose do not very last lengthy adequate to truly make a replace interior the species. The eugenics flow as well because the obscene nazi 'carry close race" did not effect any great % of the inhabitants. Then there is Stephen Hawking. would your criteria follow to him? at the same time as he grew to change into sick at 21 he would look to fulfill your criteria of "ailment that forestalls them from functioning appropriate in society " How would you stack up? those that propose guidelines 'for the best of others" would under no circumstances breaks those similar guidelines. Many moves with good intentions typically get hijacked through more suitable radical members (French Revolution, fascism, Inquisition and advantageous parts of the Arab Spring) ultimately our fee of evolution has more suitable as a results of out wide inhabitants. As there are more suitable of use, there is more suitable version.precisely what characteristics are efficient interior the destiny isn't time-honored. Evolution doesn't have an end objective, purely having a human being stay lengthy adequate to breed. it particularly is the real that technique of "survival of the fittest" The fittest are purely those that reproduce.

It's not impossible but it's highly unlikely. There is an overwhelming gamut of evidence that suggests we evolved from primates here on Earth.

I totally believe that. Why not? Like Carl Sagan said, if there was not life on other planets, it would be an awful waste of space.

Doesn't sound too likely to me. We have enough diversity on our own planet to have given rise to humans.
