Most shoes pinch, but you simply have to find a pair that doesn't. My dad had ingrown toenails, and discovered that the nail bed was deformed, and the edge of the nail was curved under. He had to have it corrected surgically. That usually is not needed. usually you can find the corner of the nail, and put a small piece of tape under it, so the nail does not cut into the flesh.

you can go to doctor and have them cut out and they remove part of the nail. that is how one boy stopped it its hard to do but its worth it i have the problem and what i did was let the nail grown long and cut straight across. that is only way if you have one now in middle of nail cut v shape it will relieve the pain for awhile that is all i can tell you

If you cut your nail in a linear fashion not curvey and leave some part of it outside of nail bed then it will not in grow for a long time.
