You have a few options.

1) Let the battery die down and plug it in to the computer when it wont turn on and the screen is black.

2) Move the hold button back and forth. (it's on the top left)

3) Hold the menu button for 6-10 seconds until the screen comes up.

4) Plug it into the computer.

5) Fuse all the above in this order: 2, 3, 1, 4.

This happened to me last nite, and i was really worried. So i let the battery die down and then tried to turn it on by holding the menu button, while shifting the hold button back and forth. When that did not work, i plugged it into the computer and the screen came right up (black apple icon) and my music was back! i was SO relieved to hear my Deep Treble playing...

Hold down the center-button and the menu-botton at the same time and try to reset itself - plug into your computer and try again.

charge it, and leave it alone for a couple of hours. it should work after that
