i am a cardinal fan so the astros are always a concern to me i was just wanting everyones opinion on them. the last 3 or 4 years they have had a good team. but they lost a lot and gained little this winter. anyway what do you think

i am a diehard astros fan, but i have to say that as of now for me it is a fifty fifty chance they will even make the playoffs. the cards are still very powerful in both offense and defense. we have lost great pitching and picked up unrreliable pitchers. our offense is still unreliable also. i really hope that i am wrong, but the gm and owner have made dumb decisions in the past that have not helped out the cause either (ex. getting rid of beltran, and wagner). wagner brings up the issue of our also unreliable closer lidge, he is at best a coin flip right now also. what im basically saying is that if the chemistry doesnt arise in spring training, then its not goin to get there. when all of our players can hit on all cylinders at the SAME time then we will have a good chance at doing something. but other than that i love goin to the games b/c they are always exciting b/c the stros never do it easy so there is always added drama!! but i may be wrong i hope i am.

I hate the Astros I am a ....... fan (i would rather not say)...but i think the Astros are going to be alright they got Carlos Lee.....and Jason Jennings i think they will make it to the first round of the playoffs!!

They don't have the depth to hold up with you guys. The pitching is good but I wouldn't worry because the Cardinals' hitting is unmatched. Even if Edmonds doesn't have a great year or gets injured again, you'll have a solid backup in Taguchi. You guys will win the pennant again, no worries.

The 'STROS will battle for the division, a wild card isn't out of reach.
Worry about the Cards, they have done nothing to improve their team!

astros suck they shouldn't even be allowed to play this year they should just dismantle the whole team and make them play elese where
