Isn't that reasonable. Isn't that as ethical as a vegetarian?

The difference is that carnivores can't help it and we can. The other thing is that the limbic brain is responsible for emotions and the outer most layer is for analyzing the pain. So if they have less of those parts, I could eat easier.

Interesting thought.
But I know a few people who could end up on the menu!

Interesting thought. But what makes you think that the animals you have mentioned have no brains? Even if they had, will that make much of a difference if you were to eat them?
Actually I don't understand the "ethics" behind eating animals. Even plants are a form of life. So if you are going to take "ethics" into account, you are basically killing a form of life that cannot even cry out loud to defend itself. What's next? Will you stop all carnivorous animals from eating other animals and force feed them with plants?
Forget about the so called ethics and eat what you like without worry. Because if you are going to worry about such things, you will get nowhere...

We raised chickens when I was a kid, they are definitely stupid. LOL When you cut a chicken's head off, the head lays on the ground crowing and the body runs around in circles (hence the phrase, "Running around like a chicken with its head cut off," to decribe someone running around like crazy) for several minutes. That's a sign of a rather underdeveloped brain.

We had cattle, too. Ate several of them, even though they are definitely smarter than chickens and have big, pretty brown eyes.
