What do you think the shower really is for? It's a giant urinal.

Their urinals do not function properly. Urine still splashes and spatters everywhere. If someone opens the door to a male cloakroom the stench of urine can be smelled metres away. Now THERE is a new invention somebody should work on... and will make a lot of money. Something with an air suction or vacuum of sorts. My husband sits, and washes his hands afterwards thank heavens. His Mom taught him well. Dicko -The Germans always do things for a reason. They have visitors from all parts of the world, and believe it or not, many do need instructions. Which brings me to... Hey we should consider ourselves lucky. My cousin travelled Asia. He told me about toilets that were mere long troughs in the cement. (I must ask him where it was, I can’t recall) But anyway there are rows of these troughs, parallel to one another, without any form of partition. So you need to squat, balance, and do what you need to do while a guy on both sides, and opposite you too for crying out load (facing you) are doing the same. He sad he struggled so, because as a foreigner, all eyes were on him.

Because, the women usually ends up owning the house anyway. So, does it matter. Raise the toilet seat, do what you gotta do and put the toilet seat back down when you are finished.

Good question. It's a good idea, too.

You know, it's not that hard to put the seat DOWN when you go in there. Men lift it when they go in and don't complain.

probably way more expensive than a normal toilet & also maybe more complicated & expensive plumbing? certainly a stainless steel one would cost a fortune.

because a house is to be shared by every member of the family.so you don't have to specialized or make changes to suit one's needs unless for the disabled of course.

And who will be in charge of scrubbing out the urinal? Get it! It's bad enough we have to scrub the small squatty thing, I would LOSE MY MIND if I had to clean something 5 feet high.

Some are I guess. If you build a house, you can tell them to add one.
