I once looked up where they come from because it was as if they come out of nowhere. The eggs are low on the stem part of the banana when you bring them in the house, and then they hatch.

You could try washing the stem area of the bunch of bananas without using water that is either too hot or too cold.

Wrap your bananas in newspaper and store them in the fridge to get the most longevity out of them and stop the gants

First, do NOT buy organic bananas.
Second, the fruit flies come from the eggs which are in the skin of the fruit. While you can't get rid of them, you can put the fruit in the fridge to prevent them from hatching.

Use inverted jar lids or other similar devices to build fly traps. Bait them with vinegar laced with dishwashing liquid. The flies get in, but they can't get out.

I guess you could spray them with mild insecticide aerosol, as you don't eat the peel it should be safe, or keep themin a cool lader or something (I know the fridge is not the best place for them)

Eat them before they become over-ripe, or use 1 of those screen wrapped food domes.

You could put them in a paper bag, if you put them in a plastic one they will spoil faster.
