If none of them is lame there will be 20 cows and 15 ducks.

Ducks = D; Cows = C
110 (Legs) = 4C + 2D
35 (Heads) = C + D

2C + D = 55; D = 35 - C; 2C + 35 - C = 55; C + 35 = 55
C = 20
D = 35 - C = 15

Check: 4(20) + 2(15) = 80 + 30 = 110

20 cows for 20 heads and 80 legs.

15 ducks for the remaining 15 heads and 30 legs.
