What if this person is depressed and you don't want to hurt him, and your the only person that he has?

Gimme a break. Look, sorry dear, but if the shoe was on the other foot, would he do the same for you? Look, life, especially your young life where you can date freely and have fun, is very VERY short. Soon you have responsibilities to others, and a family and those days are loooooooooong past. It's your life, have fun with it.

I think u should not stay with someone if your hearts not in it because in the long run your just hurting the other person by making him think that u are interested and your just waisting your time on a fake relationship although it may sound bad.

It is a nice gesture but U need to remember that if you're not happy with your situation or in this case in your relationship, then you can't make anybody else happy. you need to be content with you first to help someone else. So ended but try to end as friends. Sounds like you care just make sure he knows that and tell him you'll aways be there as a friend. It will make you feel better and he will respect and trust you. I know been there.

No .. no one should stay in a relationship out of "obligation" or 'guilt' or being 'forced'/co-dependency issues.
That is just not right. Rather it is much healthier (emotionally, mentally, and in all other ways) to just separate and live individual lives on different paths.
(Just do NOT be cruel about breaking it off -- that is the only concern here).

This is a tough one...you need to be true to yourself. However if you think the news will devastate your bf I would look for a third party to help lessen the blow ie, another friend, family member, counselor. Just be honest and supportive, but don't apologize for your feelings. Good luck.

my relationship w/my babe has been 2 complicated 2 a point that i wanted 2 give up 4 so many tyms
but then i cudnt bear seeing my babe all torn up.. i luv him so much...
but then im kinda falling 4 someone else.... i know its wrong 4 me 2 go on like this, unfair 4 myself, my babe & d other guy but i dnt care... i plan 2 stay!!!

Just try to break it off gently or offer to be good friends. It would hurt them more to be with someone you really aren't in to. It's a tough and delicate situation.

Definitely no. It's great that you are putting his feelings into consideration, but you need to make yourself happy first. He'll be happier in the long run because you ended things and he most likely won't feel like you used him.

It is not your job to fix him. If you don't have feelings for him, end it. It will only hurt him more in the long run. Do him, and yourself a favor and get out.
